Today I want to talk about money! £££
It’s a scary topic to discuss when you’re starting out & it can be tempting to go down the discount & sale route to get some cash flowing
However this can come across as a little bit desperate to the customer and they can smell it from a mile off which will really damage your brand image & reputation!
You have to believe that the money is coming & assume the best possible situation from your customer’s point of view
Eg. you might assume that your customer has been on your website for the first time, thinks it’s dreadful & didn’t buy anything
This isn’t helpful to anyone & most importantly you and your mindset!
I advise my clients to think about how they purchase themselves as consumers
This is the usual process I go through as a consumer:
see a new brand on insta
follow the brand
like a couple of their posts
see someone i know wearing the brand
click through to website
get distracted by whatsapp message
2 weeks later see another instagram post from the brand
go back on the website & add a couple of items to basket
realise i don’t get paid until next week
i get paid & go back on the website to purchase
Do you see how long that process can take?
When launching a brand, you have to be patient & hold your nerve
Just because you offer the product at a discounted price, this isn’t going to draw people to buy, it will just make you look desperate for sales
To ease that feeling, here are some money affirmations I want you to repeat to yourself every single morning (I’ve recorded them on the VoiceNote app on my phone & listen back to them!)

Every dollar I spend and donate comes back to me multiplied.

I give myself permission to prosper and grow.
I am worthy of all the richness I desire.
You are a money magnet.
I have the power to create the success and build the wealth I desire.
