the fashion brand clinic podcast - episode 108 - how i got myself out of £27,000 of debt with Nicole @ The Fruit Moth
Welcome to another episode! This is the first time a guest has been nominated to come on the podcast based on an insta post one of my incredible listeners showed me!
Nicole Broad runs The Fruit Moth which is a zero waste ethical fashion brand offering a range of limited run accessories and clothing, made entirely from remnant and vintage fabrics and preloved clothing.
Previous to this Nicole dealt with the loss and grief of her partner which in turn spiralled into a shopping addiction resulting in her owing £27k in credit card loans. Incredibly Nicole paid this off 1 year early and in this episode she tells us all about how she did it!
In this episode we discuss :
The shame & grief associated with the word debt
How a shopping addiction can be taken seriously & turned around into a positive habit of saving
Nicole’s dopamine dresses which are all handmade under her own label The Fruit Moth
