the fashion brand clinic podcast - episode 110 - fashion, anxiety, alopecia & moving countries with lucy @ luluna
Lucy is my guest on the podcast this week sharing her story about moving halfway across the world! Lucy is a nurse who recently moved from Ireland over to Australia to start a new life as she was suffering with her mental health. As a result she developed alopecia & total hair loss which forced her to embrace standing out from the crowd & in her words ‘looking weird’ . She picked up sewing as a therapeutic hobby which developed from upcycling vintage clothes into the sustainable brand she has today!
In this episode we discuss :
Lucy’s story about coping with alopecia whilst starting a fashion brand
How Lucy moved her customer base from her hometown in Ireland to her new home in Australia
What it means to create your identity online & how to actually be authentic
