the fashion feed - episode 69 - the art of making people smile with katie france
Recording today’s episode was so much fun with my guest (& previous client) Katie France! There’s something special about Katie’s unique energy & warm personality that makes you want to hang out with her so I felt very lucky to spend an hour with her over zoom
Katie France is a leopard print loving, disco-dancing, cocktail-drinking girl who gets her kicks from making colourful clothes. Her brand began as a kidswear brand called Lemonade Bubbles selling tutus & slowly merged into selling women’s dungarees
The inspiration comes from her big love for colour & sending that energy out into the world to spread so much love and joy to you too!
In this episode we discuss :
How Katie’s brand has evolved dramatically over the past 18 months
Her process which involves evoking memories from previous outfits & how clothes tell stories
Why she broke up with fast fashion & the impact that’s had on her own business
